What are Preventive Services?

Preventive services start with the Comprehensive examination, Orthodontic Consultation and/or Implant Consultation. At this first appointment, we will gather information about your teeth, gums, and your bite. We will then design a course of action and help you understand step by step what your needs are and how we will help you resolve them! We welcome and encourage you to be a part of the planning process and your dentist will answer any questions you have.

As part of your Comprehensive dental examination, we will diagnose any potential restorative treatment you might need such as dental fillings, crowns, or veneers, as well as any potential gum problems you may have. We look forward to giving you a thumbs up for zero cavities or problems, however, if you have dental needs that must be addressed, we can assure you quality work and TLC from the best dentist.

Your Orthodontic Consultation is an examination where we seek to identify the necessity for Braces, Invisalign, or habit-breakers that may be required. Properly aligned teeth contribute to healthy teeth, gums and a great smile. If you decide to proceed further, we will obtain X-rays, photographs, and models of your teeth which we will use to create a customized plan to achieve a beautiful smile.

Your Implant consultation is another service we offer our patients with missing or broken down teeth. Tooth loss is unfortunate and can lead to a lot of negative side effects.

Paramount Dental Care can offer its patients General Dentistry Services as well as the Specialty Services you would normally be referred out of office for. Cleanings

At the dental office, a proper cleaning of your teeth is referred to as a Prophylaxis. This type of cleaning is typically done every six months, but the intervals can be adjusted to meet each patient's needs. This preventive service is also where we gather information about your teeth and gums and look for potential gum problems due to plaque and/or tartar accumulation. The doctor can, quite competently, also treat gum problems at Paramount Dental Care. Never forget that you are the key player in keeping your teeth clean and healthy. Brushing and flossing must be done each day, by you at home, to avoid potential dental problems.
